About Albatros Beheer & Management

Before starting my own consultancy business in 2007, I worked as an employed treasurer with four global companies, namely: Wolters-Kluwer NV, Royal Wessanen NV, Sara Lee / Douwe Egberts NV and Samas Group NV. This experience made me decide to start my own treasury consultancy firm, with the aim of acquiring and executing treasury-related assignments on an interim basis.

At my first job so, I was hired, by Q8, as treasury supervisor. After that I set up and developed the treasury function for Interfood, a privately owned dairy multinational. At the end of 2008 I obtained a treasury role at  Koninklijke BAM Groep NV (Royal BAM Group NV); this was my first interim job with an (at that time) AEX-listed company. Following that, I was contracted as interim treasurer with ING Real Estate Development in The Hague. I was also involved with the set up and organisation of a treasury department at Crucell NV, Leiden. After having developed a treasury department at Vlisco Netherlands BV (private equity), I was hired again by Koninklijke BAM Groep NV, this time as guarantee manager. Subsequently I became Interim Group Treasurer of the Dutch holding of South-African media multinational Naspers Limited housing all internet and e-commerce business of this group. At this moment I am engaged in several part time assignments, among others with Barentz, Agro Merchants Group and Dummen Orange.
